DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Aug 22: The Secretary-General of the Mutahidda Majlis-i-Amal and chief of his own faction of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has said that the MMA aims at bringing a social, economic and political revolution in the country.

He said if the MMA came into power, it would ensure the closure of the chapters of foreign interference and unemployment and would make the country sovereign in real sense.

He was talking to newsmen of Media Centre at his residence on Wednesday evening.

The Maulana said the MMA was the bloc of politico-religious parties and people had great expectations from the alliance. He said the component parties had vowed to come to the expectations of common people and there had been no rift or cracks among the alliance at any stage.
