Zahoor Club trounce Kalakot Stars
KARACHI, Aug 21: Zahoor Shaheed Club trounced Kalakot Stars 3-0 in the City District Government Karachi Jashan-i-Azadi Football Tournament at Peoples Stadium Tuesday.
Javed, Naeem and Sarwar Baba scored the goals. United Sports beat Sabir Sports 1-0. Faheem scored the match winning goal.
Sanghoolane Muhammadan beat Korangi Gymkhana 3-0. Nazeer, Waheed and Ali Jabbar scored one goal each.
In Basketball event at Arambgh court Karachi Colts beat Safia Club 51-45. Ibrahim (8) Taha (8) and Noman (6) were their main scorers. Fawwad scored ten points for losers.
Arambagh Club beat Students Club 56-42. Sohail and Raheel both contributed ten points each while Hamid and Aamir scored both scored eight points. Muhammad scored 13 points for losers.
In third match National Club beat Civil Club 40-37 with Nasir Ali making ten points for winner. Waqas made ten points for losers.—APP
