SHIKARPUR, Aug 20: A villager, Fateh Mohammad Pahore, killed her young wife, Gul Pari, and her alleged paramour, Shaman Pahore, in Ameer Bukhsh Pahore village on Monday.

Both the persons were shot dead by the accused.

The Naparkot police have registered a case.

Meanwhile, a thief, identified as Ghulam Ali Lohar, was killed in an encounter with the villagers in Thaheem Goth.

Lohar, accompanied by four accomplices, entered the house of a teacher, Nizamuddin Thaheem, to commit a theft.

Thaheem’s family members, with their neighbours who came to their help after listening to hue and cry, offered resistance to the thieves, which led to an encounter between the two groups.
