Patwaris’ strike continues

SIALKOT, Aug 19: Patwaris in the Sialkot district on Monday continued their strike against the illegal occupation of patwarkhanas by administrations in Daska and Phalia tehsils.

Talking to newsmen, the Sialkot district president of Anjuman-i-Patwarian, Khawaja Wajid Ali, alleged that patwaris of Daska and Phalia tehsils were facing problems as they were deprived of their record rooms.

He pledged that the strike would continue till the evacuation of these patwarkhanas by Daska and Phalia administrations. — Correspondent
