MIRPURKHAS, Aug 17: The Secretary Education, Nazar Hussain Mehar, has suspended, Ms Mujahida Parveen, Assistant District Officer, education (female), elementary, Digri.
The action has been taken following an inquiry conducted on the orders of the district Nazim, Pir Shafqat Hussain Shah Jilani, regarding the misappropriation of funds of School Management Committees (SMCs), of two schools of taluka Digri, when a ban was imposed on using these funds in the district by EDO, education.
ARRESTED: The town police arrested, Waseem Rajput, a worker of a banned religious organisation, from the Post Office Chowk, on Thursday night.
The police also recovered a 30-bore, TT pistol, from his possession, and registered a case under section 13-D, Arms Act.
