Four die in accident

CHITRAL, Aug 16: Four persons died while eight sustained serious injuries in a jeep accident here on Friday morning at Shooch, near Istaroo village in Upper Chitral.

The jeep (RIB 6335), driven by Sher Mehmood, was bound for Chitral city when it plunged into the river due to the opening of its tie-rod.

Two women, wife of Sher Hawas and another, daughter of Wali Mohammad, were among those who died. The injured have been admitted to the tehsil headquarters hospital Booni.—Correspondent
