FO to take up student visa issue with US
ISLAMABAD, Aug 16: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was fully alive to the problem, caused by delay in grant of US visas to Pakistani students who have already obtained admissions to universities, specially at a time when the academic year was about to begin.
A spokesman for the ministry said the matter had been taken up both with the US Embassy here and the State Department in Washington.
The attention of the spokesman was drawn to a letter in a section of the press. —APP
