PPP stages demo

BADIN, Aug 3: A protest rally was taken out by the activists of the PPP and its sister organizations, the Sindh Peoples Students Organization and the Sindh Peoples Youth, on Friday against implicating Ms Benazir Bhutto and her husband, Asif Ali Zardari, in false cases.

The activists were led by the president, Sindh Peoples Youth, Badin District, Tanveer Ahmed Arain, and the president, SPSF, Badin District, Yar Mohammed Mallah. The protesters marched through the main roads of the town.

They were raising slogans against the government and demanding for the withdrawal of cases instituted against Ms Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari.

Later, they observed token hunger strike in front of the press club.
