Girls outshine boys in XII class results

SUKKUR, July 30: Girls students have surpassed the boys in results of examinations of class XII, pre-engineering and pre-medical groups, announced by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sukkur, here on Tuesday.

According to the notification issued by the BISE, Sukkur, Sehrish Bukhari, daughter of Syed Ali Shah Bukhari, student of the Public School, Sukkur, secured first position in the pre-engineering group by obtaining 933 marks. Hina, daughter of Nisar Ahmed Memon, Government Girls College, Gambat, stood second among the girls candidates and passed in A-I grade while Beenish Anjum, daughter of Laeequr Rehman Siddiqi, Hira Public Higher Secondary School, Sukkur, obtained third position by taking 864 marks.

Among the male candidate in the pre-engineering group, Ghulam Mohiuddin, son of Ghulam Rasool Sial, Sanjey Kumar, son of Hari Lal, and Naveed Shahzad, son of Manzoor Hussain, grabbed first, second and third positions by securing 896, 881 and 874 marks.

In pre-medical group, Farzeena Shah, daughter of Rafiq Mohammad Shah, Public School, Sukkur, secured first position by obtaining 926 marks while the two sisters, Shamazia Nosheen and Tanya Maher, daughters of Zulfiqar Ali Maher, Pak-Saudi Fertilizer Higher Secondary School, Mirpur Mathelo, secured second and third positions by obtaining 904 and 902 marks respectively.

Among the male candidates of the pre-medical group, Saqib, son of Syed Jeeyal Shah, Mehran Model School and College, Pano Aqil, and Manzoor Hussain, son of Mehboob Khan Wasan, Mazher Muslim Model Higher Secondary School, Ranipur secured first and second position by obtaining 887 and 854 marks respectively. Mohammad Nasir, son of Dr Fazal Mohammad Khoso, Government Degree College, Sukkur, grabbed the third position by obtaining 853 marks.
