Ali Yasir qualifies for second round


MANCHESTER, July 28: Ali Yasir Rai of Pakistan qualified for the second round after he finished fourth clocking 22.27 seconds in 200 metres at Commonwealth Games Sunday.

Another Pakistani, Allah Ditta failed to qualify after settling at fifth with a timing of 51.03 seconds in 400 metres hurdles semifinals.

Ihtsham Ul Haq of Pakistan finished at bottom at discus throw final. He threw the discus at a distance of 48.31 metres.
