Ihtsham qualifies

MANCHESTER, July 26: Pakistan’s Ihtsham Ul Haq qualified for the discus final at the Commonwealth Games Friday.

However, his medal hopes remain dim as his drow he was almost 20 metres short of South African Frantz Kruger.

Ali Yasir Rai was eliminated in the first round of men’s 100 metres. He clocked 11.19second and finished eighth.
