Nauman excels with bat, ball


KARACHI, July 24: Nauman Javaid, a former Pakistan Emerging XI player, which toured Holland in 1999, has been in great form as an allrounder playing key role for Brentwood Cricket Club in English County Essex League.

In the on-going season Nauman has so far hammered four centuries and five fities, two of his centuries have been back to back for an aggregate total of 886. Besides he has captured 18 wickets for 242 runs.

Against Harold Green in the first match Nauman cracked 117 which included 17 fours and a six. A week later he hammered 123 against Hutton Park Club that contained 16 hits to the fence. His third and fourth centuries (131) and (115) came against Southend and Crescent Club.
