Imran nets winner

ISLAMABAD, July 24: Akbar Club held Islamabad Club to a 1-1 draw in the Independence Day Soccer tournament, now in full swing at the Pakistan Sports Complex Grounds.

After Owais had given Islamabad Club a 15th minute lead, Akbar fought back gallantly to equalise terms soon after the start of the second half through Chaman Khan.

In another match, Islamabad United scored a 1-0 victory against Rover Club, Imran netting the winner on the 55th minute.
