By Our Sports Reporter

KARACHI, July 20: Pakistan card shufflers were languishing 11th in a 40-team consolation tournament for bronze medal in the Commonwealth Games bridge competition in Manchester.

According to information made available, Pakistan failed to reach the semifinals of the main event and had to appear in the side event which is to judge the bronze medalist.

The gold was picked by Canada while Wales scooped up silver.
