Punjab Club in big win

ISLAMABAD, July 19: Punjab Club battered King’s Gymkhana into submission inflicting a 236-run defeat on them Friday in the Islamabad Cricket Association Under-19 Championship.

Musa Khan and Akhtar scored half centuries to spearhead Punjab to an impressive 338. Nauman Akmal of Gymkhana bowled well and captured two wickets.

Adnan Salman and M. Adnan then ran through the Gymkhana batting as both took three wickets each to dismiss their rivals for 102. Qamber Hussain was the main scorer with 30.

Al-Muslim bt Mehran by three wickets. Mehran 148 (Abdullah 65, Tariq and Munir four wkts each); Al-Muslim 149 for seven (Hammad Kiani 46, Habib Khan 45, Muhammad Hanif 5-18, Hammad 2-32).

Youngster bt Imran Memorial by seven wickets. Imran Memorial 136 (Shafaqat Ali 26, Asim Gondal 4-32, Shahid Malik and Tahir Shahzad two wkts each); Youngster 139 for three (M. Rizwan Sohail 36, Javed Shah 36).
