ISLAMABAD, July 18: As many as 27 clubs are to compete in the Islamabad Cricket Association Knockout Championship starting Sunday.

Head of the ICA’s tournament committee, Syed Abrar Rizvi chaired a meeting Thursday that decided the draws for the tournament. The opening match will see Model Town Gymkhana taking on Young Capital.

The following are the different groups:

Group A: Muslim, Azam, Youngster, Noorpur, Asif Memorial, Al- Fateh, King’s Gymkhana

Group B: PTV, Imran Memorial, Classic, All-Youngster, PBC, Hasan Memorial, CRA.

Group C: Millat, Al-Muslim, Diamond, Galaxy, Punjab, Eleven Star, ITR.

Group D: Model Town Gymkhana, Young Capital, Majid Memorial, Rawal Town, CDA, Mehran.
