Pro-Kashmir rally held in London

By Our Correspondent

LONDON, July 14: Several hundred Pakistanis and Kashmiris staged a peaceful but rather noisy rally against Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir, here on Sunday.

The rally, led by Barrister Sultan Mehmood, an ex-prime minister of Azad Kashmir, marched through the streets in the city centre, chanting slogans against India and in support of the right of self-determination of the Kashmiri people.

Barrister Sultan Mehmood addressed the rally and condemned India for its brutalities in the occupied Kashmir.

The participants of the rally handed a memorandum about Kashmir at 10-Downing Street.
