Qayyum briefs Maqbool

LAHORE, July 14: National Kashmir Committee Chairman Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan told Governor Khalid Maqbool on Sunday that American intellectuals and media representatives had supported the Pakistani stand on Kashmir.

The Kashmir committee chairman said this in a meeting with the governor at the Governor’s House, saying that the support was extended to him in his recent visits to the US and the UK.

The governor while discussing the issue with the chairman urged the international human rights bodies to take notice of the atrocities in held Kashmir and press India to allow media access to the territory.
