Ismail and Gulzar pull out

KARACHI, July 13: Pakistan Bridge Federation (PBF) was forced to make readjustment in Pakistan squad for the bridge contest of Commonwealth Games being held in Manchester (England) from July 15 to 20 after Muhammad Ismail and Gulzar Bilal pulled out of the team for personal reasons.

Secretary General, PBF and captain of Pakistan team Tariq Rasheed told APP Saturday that four bridge experts available in United Kingdom will be join the team.

He said PBF has invited Javed Ahmed, Tufail Shaikh, Sajid Isphani and Rehman Allana to join the team. He said out of four three will be picked in Pakistan team.

Tariq said a five-member Pakistan bridge squad is due to leave for Manchester (England) Sunday night.

PBF President, Mrs Rehana Saigol will accompany the squad to UK which also included Yousuf Talpur, Masood Mazhar and Sarfraz Ahmed Khan and Tariq Rasheed (Captain).—APP
