HYDERABAD, July 13: A dozen residents of Goth Sabz Ali Korai, Ganju Takkar, Hyderabad, including children, observed a token hunger strike outside the press club here on Friday, demanding basic amenities for their village.

Their representative, Sabz Ali Korai, told newsmen that at least 100 families had been living in the village for the last five years but they had been denied of basic facilities, including water, power and gas.

ZARDARI: A solitary figure, Gulzar Ali Zardari, resident of Daur, Nawabshah district, who had chained himself and observed a token hunger strike outside the press club here on Friday for the release of the Pakistan People’s Party leader, Asif Ali Zardari.
