PESHAWAR, July 11: Participants at a workshop here on Tuesday said effective role of media can help in addressing the issues plaguing the political system.

The participants pointed out vital issues effecting the political and electoral process, with a pledge that they would make efforts for addressing these issues in print and electronic media.

The workshop was arranged for “Networking with the media” by the Citizens Commission for Human Development (CCHD), which has launched political education programme in six districts of NWFP — Peshawar, Nowshera, Charssada, Haripur, Buner and Kohistan. People attached with media participated in the programme from these districts.—Bureau Report
