By Our Correspondent

MITHI, July 10: The anti-corruption circle officer, Mithi, Mohammad Hassan Sehto, has seized the record of the construction work of the Same-ji-Veri Boys Primary School, Nagarparkar taluka.

Mr Setho, along with civil judge and first class magistrate, Mithi, raided the office of the district officer, education works, and the deputy district officer, education, Nagarparkar, here the other day.

He told a group of journalists here on Tuesday that the anti-corruption establishment had received many public complaints regarding the embezzlement of funds allocated for school buildings.

The people had alleged that the officials of the education works department in Tharparkar district had misappropriated the funds by preparing fake measurement books, getting huge commission from contractors, who did not complete the work of some of these buildings, but were made full payments.
