SHO dismissed on custodial killing charge

LARKANA, July 10: The DPO, Larkana, Ghulam Nabi Memon has dismissed former SHO of the Civil Lines police, Ghulam Abbas Gadhi, who is nominated in the murder case of Mukhtiar Brohi who died in police custody a month ago.

Anwer Brohi, the brother of the deceased, lodged the FIR with the Civil Lines police against inspector Fida Hussain Chandio, the then SHO, Dari, inspector Sarfraz Paichuho, sub inspector Ghulam Abbas Gadhi, the then SHO, Civil Lines and others.

Since then the police officials are absconding and, through their relatives and friends, trying to arrive at a reconciliation with the bereaved family.

However, they have failed as the family members of Mukhtiar are constantly demanding their arrests.
