By Our Staff Reporter

LAHORE, July 10: Pakistan Credit Rating Agency (Pacra) has maintained the long-term rating of “AA+” (double A plus) and short-term rating of “A1+” (A one plus) for Metropolitan Bank Limited.

The rating donate a very low expectation of credit risk emanating from very strong capacity for timely payment of financial commitments.

The rating are applicable to the senior unsecured creditors (depositors) of the bank. These are highest credit ratings assigned by Pacra to any commercial bank.

Pacra, while assigning the ratings has taken cognizance of the bank’s continuing policy of maintaining the low risk profile with steady growth through deposit mobilization and dynamic fund deployment strategy.
