93 JSQM activists booked

LARKANA, July 8: The Larkana police registered cases at two police stations against 93 activists of the Jeay Sindh Quami Mahaz (JSQM) who were protesting on Sunday against the construction of the Thal canal and the arrest of Bashir Khan Qureshi.

Both police stations have arrested 21 workers of the JSQM, the sources told this scribe on Monday.

A case against 50 workers of the JSQM has been registered with the Waleed police station.

The SHO, Market, has also lodged an FIR against 50 people.

Those who have been arrested and detained at the Market pol-ice station are Tarique Chandio, Shabir Panhwar, Sarang Cha-ndio, Umid Ali Siyanch, M. Akram Bhatti, Saeed Ahmed Solangi, Ayaz Hussain Solangi, and Asghar Ali Mughiri.
