BNP leader wants new constitution

By Our Correspondent

HUB, July 6: Balochistan National Party leader Sardar Akhtar Mengal has demanded that a new constitution should be made by representatives of five nationalities of the country as the 1973 constitution has become obsolete.

“The 1973 constitution has become worthless and the frequent amendments to it have damaged its true face so it is necessary to make a new constitution.”

He said this while addressing a protest meeting held by BNP (Mengal) here on Friday against the siege of Dera Bugti.
