KOHAT, July 5: The leaders of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal have demanded of the government to stop the killing of innocent Al Qaeda members who had no enmity with Pakistan and its people.

Speaking at a protest meeting here on Thursday to condemn the killing of four Chechen fighters by the security forces in Kohat they said that the country had lost its sovereignty without any gain in the war against terrorism which in fact was a campaign to divide the Muslims.

Javed Ibrahim Paracha, the former PML MNA from Kohat, in his speech advised the government not to test the sentiments of the people any more and warned that if the things go on like this then soon people would start an armed struggle against the Musharraf rule to halt the massacre of Muslim fighters on this soil.
