KARACHI, July 5: The Jamshed Town Council, on Friday, approved its Rs263 million budget for 2002-2003, after a detailed debate at its session held under the chairmanship of Naib Nazim and convener, Ashfaq Ahmed Mujahid.
Discussing various budgetary provisions, UC Naib Nazim, Nadeem Arain, pointed out that there was no mention about the salaries of staff posted in his UC as well as other privileges.
The members including Rasheed Baloch, Farrukh Tanoli, Walid Ahmed, Noor Islam, Dr Nadeem and others also spoke.—APP
