KARACHI, July 4: Four robberies were committed in the city on Thursday, the police said.

Four bandits forced their entry into the house of Mohammed Abbas in Gulshan-i-Iqbal, held the family hostage at gunpoint, collected cash, gold jewellery and other valuables and escaped.

Three bandits barged into the house of Kashif in Model Colony, Malir, made the occupants of the house hostage at gunpoint, and got away with cash and jewellery.

Munir Ahmed was deprived of cash and jewellery in his house in Clifton by three bandits.

Three bandits entered a shop owned by Anwaar Ahmed in Soldier Bazaar and got away with computers and related accessories.
