PESHAWAR, July 3: President of Pakistan Mazdoor Kissan Party Fatehyab Ali Khan was externed on Wednesday from North West Frontier Province under section 5(1) (a) of West Pakistan Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance, 1960 for 30 days “as in view of tension prevailing between landlords and tenants, his prejudicial activities will exacerbate the situation leading to further worsening of law and order in the province”.

The order signed by NWFP Secretary Home & Tribal Affairs Department said the “provocative speeches of Fatehyab Ali Khan will harm the national solidartity in the existing delicate situation of the country and ignite agrarian violence between landlords and tenants. There are reasons to believe that he will indulge in activities prejudicial to public safety and maintenance of good order in NWFP”.

He was served with the order on Wednesday near Charsadda while he was going to Mandani to address his party meeting.—PPI
