LAHORE, June 24: The Governor’s Inspection Team carried out a two-hour ‘surprise’ inspection of the district government food laboratory at the Jinnah Hall here on Monday.
The inspection team checked the facilities at the laboratory and inspected the equipment used for analysis.
Laboratory record was also examined and information was sought about the staff and capacity to analyze the food samples with accuracy.
A special 10-day food and drug sampling campaign is underway in the province since June 21. — Reporter
