KARACHI: Centre for drug addicts opens


KARACHI, June 24: A 20-bed treatment centre known as “New Horizon Care Centre” has been established by Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Merchants Association at B-17, Block-1, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, for the free-of-cost treatment of addicts in collaboration with Anti-Narcotics Force, Regional Directorate, Sindh.

Maj-Gen Zafar Abbas, the ANF DG, inaugurated the centre as the chief guest and lauded the efforts of PCDMA.

He also urged the business community to come forward and join hands with the ANF to eliminate drug addiction from Pakistan.—PPI
