KARACHI, June 23: The Sindh Employees’ Social Security Institution (SESSI) disbursed a sum of Rs2.14 million as cash benefits to the secured workers and their dependents last month.
This was disclosed at a review meeting of the institution which was chaired by SESSI Commissioner Ameer Ali Burq. The meeting was called to discuss working of the medical centres.
A decision was taken to constitute a task force, comprising technical experts, members of trade and industry associations and SESSI officials, to create a patient-friendly atmosphere in the institution’s hospitals.
