Fans advised to bring umbrellas

SEOUL, June 16: World Cup fans have been advised to bring umbrellas and raincoats to the remaining matches in Japan, including the June 30 final.

“The forecast is mostly cloudy and rainy almost every day right until the final,” FIFA spokesman said Sunday. “So expect umbrells and overcoats.”

The remaining final 16 matches, as well as the quarter-finals and semi-finals, are split between co-hosts Japan and South Korea with the final played in the Japanese city of Yokohama.—Reuters
