Students concerned at delay in results

By Our Correspondent

PESHAWAR, June 14: Scores of students of the University of Peshawar have expressed concern over the delay in the announcement of the results of MA and MSc examinations.

“We took the examinations in September last year while the result is still awaited. The unnecessary and painful delay by the university to announce the results in time, has become a source of embarrassment for the student community,” a student of MSc Computer Science Department, University of Peshawar, told Dawn on Friday.

According to him, the delay in the announcement of the results by the Examination Section had become a routine affair which badly affected start of new academic session every year.

Not only the students of Computer Science Department, but also those who appeared as private candidates in MA, Urdu Final Examination conducted by the varsity in September last year, have also asked the Vice Chancellor to announce results without further delay.
