‘Provincial finance award to be reasonable’

LARKANA, June 13: “It will be clear in a week or two whether I shall contest the ensuing elections or not,” said Sindh Governor Mohammedmian Soomro while talking to this scribe here on Thursday.

When asked about the reaction of the Sindh government on the delay in the announcement of the NFC award, the governor said that they were working on the provincial finance award which would be announced soon adding that they had tried to make it a reasonable one.

Earlier the governor briefly addressed the High Court Bar Association, Larkana, where he also inaugurated the library.

Earlier, speaking at the fifth convocation of the Chandka Medical College (CMC), Sindh Governor Mohammedmian Soomro called upon the graduates of medical and other professions to keep themselves abreast of modern research and changes in technology taking place with each passing day otherwise he added that it would not be the individual but the whole society and the country which would end up at loosing.

Vice Chancellor of the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Prof Jan Mohammad Memon, announced on the occasion that post-graduate classes would begin soon at the CMC.
