Jeddah urges restraint


JEDDAH, June 10: Saudi Arabia on Monday again called on Pakistan and India to exercise restraint and hold peace talks.

“The cabinet reiterates its call for India and Pakistan to exercise restraint, (show) wisdom in resolving their dispute and resort to negotiations to end the crisis,” said a statement issued after the weekly cabinet meeting and carried by the official SPA news agency.—AFP
