Three killed in Peshawar

PESHAWAR, June 5: Two people were killed on Tuesday night, while a 5-year-old boy was killed in a road accident on Wednesday.

Maqsood, son of Maroof, a resident of Sorizai Bala, lodged an FIR with Badhber police station, that he was at his home when three people — Tehmash, Namdar and Wajahaullah, entered his home and opened indiscriminate firing on his sisters.

A girl Lalpari received serious injuries in the attack and died on her way to the hospital. Enmity is stated to be reason for the attack.

An engineer of City Development and Municipal Department (CDMD), Nusratullah, was found dead at his residence in Gulbahar Colony on Tuesday.

Brother of the deceased, Amin Jan, told police that his family was informed about the death of Nusratullah by some people on telephone.

When the family reached Nusrat’s residence, he was found dead with execution marks around his neck. Amin Jan claims that Nusrat is murdered by some unidentified people, while the police say that the deceased has committed suicide.

Police sent the body for mortuary to Khyber Medical College.

Meanwhile, a 5-year-old Afghan boy, Qadeer was crushed to death on Jamrood Road, near Commanderi, here on Wednesday.

The boy was crossing the road when a speedy car (NWFP-M 4765) crushed him to death. Police have arrested the Afghan driver, Habib, a resident of Kabul.
