LAHORE, June 4: The Punjab University has published the first volume of its Urdu Encyclopaedia of Islam. It plans to publish later the Arabic, Persian and Turkish versions of the encyclopaedia.
A UEI management meeting presided over by the PU vice-chancellor decided that a panel of writers and reviewers should be put up for final approval in the next meeting. — Reporter
