Two bombs explode, rocket fired at village

WANA, June 2: Two explosive devices went off in the Yousafkhel village and unknown assailants fired a rocket in a deserted place of South Waziristan Agency on Saturday. No casualties occurred.

One of the two bombs, planted in the Yousafkhel village, went off at noon, while the other exploded during the night, causing fear among the villagers.

A rocket, which was fired at a village near Makeen, hit a deserted place, but caused no damage.

Sources told Dawn that the explosions were part of revengeful activities in which the local people often indulged.
