NOWSHERA, May 30: Three persons of a family were killed on Wednesday night allegedly over a property row, in the Bara Banda area near Risalpur Cantt.

The dead were identified as Ikramullah and his two sons — Kausarullah and Zakirullah.

Widow of Ikramullah, Bas Bibi, nominated her brothers-in-law Ihsanullah and Siddiqullah in the triple-murder case lodged with the Risalpur police.

She told the police that on the night between Wednesday and Thursday the accused forcibly entered her house and showered bullets on her husband and two sons, who died on the spot, and the killers fled.

A heavy contingent of police including ASP Abdul Jabbar Khan and SSP Nowshera cantt Feroz Shah reached the scene soon after receiving the information. Later, briefing reporters, the SSP said many investigation teams had been formed to arrest the killers.
