ISLAMABAD, May 30: Interior Minister Moin Haider said on Thursday that Pakistan would reciprocate the gesture of the Afghan government and return the arrested Afghans.

During the press conference of chairman of interim administration of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai at the Chief Executive’s Office, when the question of returning the arrested Afghans came up, Moin Haider told the Afghan leader that Pakistan had no other way but to reciprocate his government’s decision to return arrested Pakistanis.

The minister said Pakistan was very grateful to the Afghan government for its decision to release Pakistanis languishing in jails there.—APP
