By Our Correspondent

SHEIKHUPURA, May 28: Bandits on Tuesday drove away with Narang Mandi union council Nazim’s car in Canal Colony.

Reports said Nazim Asghar Ali parked his car (V-11-33/Sindh) outside his brother’s house in Canal Colony. On returning, he found his car missing.

Police are investigating.

One Sarwar lodged complaint with the A Division police that thieves made off with gold ornaments, a colour TV and VCR from his house when he was at his office.

FIR: Ferozewala Division Wapda SDO has lodged a first information report with police that cable worth over Rs100,000 has been taken away by some thieves.

Consequently, there was no electricity in chaks 39, 40, 46 and various other villages for the last two days.

The residents in the locality have protested against the delay in restoration of electricity and alleged the incident took place with the connivance of some Wapda officials.
