SHO, five cops hurt on road
BAHAWALNAGAR, May 27: An SHO and five constables were injured when a wagon hit their mobile van here on Sunday.
The mobile of Maddrassa police was coming back after arresting some wanted criminals from the river belt. As they came on to the metalled road, the passenger wagon coming from Bahawalpur drove into their vehicle. The SHO and five constables sustained injuries. They were rushed to the local DHQ Hospital from where SHO Mian Iyaz and constable Fiaz were shifted to BVH Hospital for their serious condition. The arrested men however remained unhurt.
