Coaching clinic from June 1

KARACHI, May 25: The annual A.O. cricket coaching clinic will commence at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium from June 1, organizers said Saturday.

The camp, in its 8th year, is expected to attract more than 3,000 children who will be imparted training by former stalwarts like Zaheer Abbas, Iqbal Qasim, Tauseef Ahmad etc. Wicketkeeper Moin Khan will also guide the budding youngsters.

The camp is open to all children. Parents are advised to contact officials at the venue Monday.

The inauguration of the camp will be held on June 10. Interior Minister Lt-Gen Moinuddin Haider (retd) will be the chief guest.
