KARACHI, May 24: Selectors after marathon two-day trials of Sindh/Balcohistan region which concluded Friday finalized the names of 25 players to attend the three-months training and coach camp.

Twentyfive cricketers were picked by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) selection committee at the end of the trials in which about 200 players from vast Sindh and Balochistan took part.

These cricketers will attend the training camp which starts at PCB Regional Academy Ground here at National Stadium from June 1.

Former Test cricketers Rashid Khan said names of the boys have been submitted with PCB headquarter in Lahore which will release the names. However, he said because of only 25 boys were to picked they left out some of promising boys.

Other members of the selection committee included former Test left arm spinner Farrukh Zaman and Sultan Rana.

PCB will be providing Rs.5000 as remuneration to each of the 25 players attending the academy training for three month duration besides boarding and lodging to outstation players.—APP
