Baloch Mujahid in semifinal

KARACHI, May 24: Baloch Mujahid and Young Tughlaq completed semifinal line-up Friday in the All-Pakistan inter-club football tournament.

Baloch Mujahid defeated Shafi XI 3-1. Baloch Mujahid’s Taj Mohammad headed home the first on a corner in the 17th minute. Abdul Khaliq equalised ten minutes later.

Mohammad Hanif put his side in front in the 33rd minute, while Abid Raza’s header made it 3-1 in the 52nd minute.

District South champions Young Tughlaq edged past District West champions Mauripur Baloch 2-1.

Liaquat Ibrahim and Mohammad Ayaz slammed home one goal apiece for the winners.

Askani Brothers take on Baloch Mujahid and Naka Mohammadan meet Young Tughlaq in Saturday’s semifinals.—APP
