MIRPURKHAS, May 23: The Dadu investigation police have started inquiry into the cases against former Samaro SHO Shahid Hussain Bajwa and his opponent Jiskani clansmen following the transfer of the inquiry from the Mirpurkhas investigation police on Thursday.

The SP, investigation, Dadu, Sadiq Arain, arrived here on Thursday and took official record of the cases in his custody.

Sources revealed that the reason for transferring the inquiry from Mirpurkhas to Dadu was the disposal of the cases against the said police officer in class “C”.

Meanwhile, Shahid Hussain was brought to Mirpurkhas from the LMUH, Hyderabad, in police custody for his remand.

He was referred to the LMUH from the Mirpurkhas Civil Hospital on the basis of changed statement of doctors of the civil hospital.

Reports said the former Samaro SHO and others were allegedly involved in bid to kidnap his opponents, belonging to Jiskani clan, in the premises of the district and sessions court.

Meanwhile, the EDO (health), Mirpurkhas, Dr Illahi Bux Soomro, wrote to higher authorities and investigation officers of the police department that the health department’s vehicle (GS-3243) was found parked in the premises of the district court, Mirpurkhas, on the occasion of the above incident.
