Power breakdown hits lower Sindh

MIRPURKHAS, May 23: A seven-hour long power breakdown paralysed life in lower Sindh on Thursday.

Reports said that owing to unknown reason, power supply remained suspended from the Hala grid station, Hyderabad, through 132KV high tension line at 12pm.

The water supply was also disrupted to the towns and cities from the public health and engineering department schemes.

Business activities remained suspended during the power breakdown in Mirpurkhas and adjoining cities.—Correspondent
