Gold soars, stocks decline
KARACHI, May 22: Gold in the international market soared through $319 an ounce, hitting the $319.60 mark, and looked to be heading towards levels last recorded on Oct 14, 1999, when prices topped $322.65.
Stocks in Karachi and Mumbai continued to decline on Wednesday.
